RASHAD: BACK HERE IN THE UPSTATE, A SENECA WOMAN IS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER. OCONEE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 35-YEAR-OLD BRITTNY LAMBOY WAS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH A STABBING ON MORMON CHURCH ROAD NEAR SENECA LAST NIGHT. WE’RE TOLD LAMBOY ATTACKED SOMEONE WITH TWO KNIVES. THE VICTIM WAS TAKEN TO A HOSPITAL. DEPUTIES SAY DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS, THE NAME OF THE PATIENT IS NOT BEING RELEASED.

A Seneca woman has been charged with attempted murder after the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing. Deputies were called to Mormon Church Road Friday at 5:50 pm. Deputies say when they arrived they found a victim with several lacerations. Deputies provided first aid, and then the person was transported to a hospital for treatment.Deputies found Brittny Michelle Lamboy, 35, at a nearby location on the same street. She was arrested and later booked into the Oconee County Detention Center. A warrant indicates the victim was attacked with two knives. The sheriff's office is not releasing the name of the victim due to health and safety concerns. No condition of the patient will be provided either.
