A Seneca woman has been charged with attempted murder after the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing.
Deputies were called to Mormon Church Road Friday at 5:50 pm. Deputies say when they arrived they found a victim with several lacerations. Deputies provided first aid, and then the person was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Deputies found Brittny Michelle Lamboy, 35, at a nearby location on the same street. She was arrested and later booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.
A warrant indicates the victim was attacked with two knives. The sheriff's office is not releasing the name of the victim due to health and safety concerns. No condition of the patient will be provided either.
