Suspect arrested in Fayetteville death investigation

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police arrested a man in connection with a homicide that took place early Friday morning.

Police arrested Damian Christopher Jones, 20, and charged him with first degree murder. According to police Jones was in a dispute with Artis Lee Windsor, 32, who was found unresponsive in his Fayetteville home in the 2000 block of Polar Drive. Windsor was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said the incident was not a random act.
