SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — One suspect was taken into custody after reports of a man threatening to shoot people with a handgun at Liberty Park in Salt Lake.
Officials with the Salt Lake City Police Department said the man had a BB gun.
The incident happened at the park located around 600 East 900 South.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found both the suspect and the weapon.
Photos posted of the BB gun showed it appeared to be some kind of tactical pistol.
The 33-year-ol suspect, whose identity was not released, was booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail.
Officials said there were no injuries, and no BBs were fired.
