IRS training to RAID Suburban Homes

Keep in mind... These guys are not being put in place for foreign enemies...

PHOENIX FIELD OFFICE: Special agents conduct entry training to safely clear rooms and buildings.
TAMPA FIELD OFFICE : Special agents conduct firearms training drills in an indoor training facility.
DALLAS FIELD OFFICE: Special agents conduct building entry training drills at the Denton Public Safety Training Center in Denton, Texas.

I asked the same thing. With electronic banking it’s not like you need the physical bank statements.
Bust in peoples home and search for cash is the only thing I can think of.

Can you expand on this? What is your concern about the connection of the IRS to foreign enemies?
Keep in mind…these requirements for IRS Special Agents, training drills and fact that they carry a badge and gun are nothing new.
All of this is pretty helpful when they go knocking on (or busting in) the door of a criminal who has been money laundering, counterfeiting money, drug trafficking, etc.
Because sometimes a pencil, paper and calculator just aren’t enough to get the job done.

Its not about need it is about giving them raises without passing it just like customs and border patrol clerks in passport control, they get a bonus for being armed.

True. But they could have local law enforcement assist…
I think people are right to ask questions especially in light of Congress choosing to double the size of the department.
