ST. LOUIS – Help is coming to make improvements to Illinois roads.
That includes repairs to cracked pavements, bridges, and the transit system.
Illinois Governor. JB Pritzker announced $36.4 billion in funding at the Illinois Department of Transportation Headquarters. The increase in funding represents part of the Rebuild Illinois Campaign.
The six-year plan would be the largest capital project in the state.
