Ok, this is nasty. Very nasty. On Wednesday, a truck carrying animal remains spilled on  to a very busy portion of Route 9 in Queensbury. Right in front of the Lake George Outlets to be exact.

One witness posted a very graphic video to Facebook, claiming the driver of the truck stopped short causing the bodies to spill out onto the road. The video goes on to show the gory scene as cars tried to maneuver through it, but there was really no way to avoid it.

According to some of the witnesses the Times Union talked to, it looked like something out of a horror movie.

It was terrible. It was disgusting. By the time we got there, they bagged up the heads, but why are they letting us drive through that. That's a biological hazard. Why is that not a shut down. The blood was across all three lanes.

That same witness went to the car wash afterwards, but believes the smell of death is still lingering:

My dog is still sniffing around my car, I have to pull my dog away from my tires.

The remains are believed to have been farm animals such as pigs and horses. No word on where they were headed or exactly what caused the whole melee, but the clean up took quite a while. With the summer surge in business in the Lake George area one could only assume that hundreds of vehicles had to drive through the mess.

No word from police on if any tickets were issued.

Abandoned Ramada Hotel in Lake George is Eerie as Hell

According to the description, this video was taken in the summer of 2021. It claims to be of the former Ramada Hotel in Lake George, although a couple different hotels/motels have sported the Ramada name over the years, it's not clear which one this is. Looking back at some property transactions, it may be a Ramada that eventually become known as the Lake View Inn and Conference Center, located on Route 9N off Northway exit 21. Since no footage looks to have been taken around the building, it's difficult to confirm that. The last photo taken by Google Maps has the road leading to the hotel roped off, so more than likely it's the same place. Perhaps some locals or former guests may recognize the property?

Still, some pretty interesting finds as the explorers take us on a tour of the hotel. It appears all the remaining items in the rooms were pushed out into the parking lot. Old TV's, mattresses, bedding and vending machines line the hotel in the parking lot in a large junk pile.

Inside, the sun room had clearly seen better days - that may have been a restaurant. We can also see a bathroom (urinals) and what appears to be the kitchen. The first floor looks to have been almost completely gutted, so maybe there are plans for this place?
