The Blue Route was shutdown in both directions after a tractor trailer and a van overturned in Radnor.

At least one person was killed in a tractor-trailer crash Friday afternoon on I-476 in Delaware County that caused massive delays.

The deadly rush hour crash happened around 5 p.m. when a tractor-trailer crossed the median and slammed into another rig.

Official from PennDOT reported that a man was brought to a local hospital where he died. No other injuries were reported.

As crews worked to clear the crash a massive back-up gathered for miles.

The highway reopened around 8:30 p.m.
