Police are looking for an 18-month-old boy who they say is in danger and is thought to be traveling with his father, who is believed to be involved with a May homicide in South Salt Lake.

Stafon Dshawn Coleman Jr. is about 18 months old, 24 inches tall and 25 pounds, according to police. He has black hair and brown eyes, and police are unsure what he could be wearing.

Stafon Dshawn Coleman, the child's father, and three other people have been on the run ever since South Salt Lake City police named them as suspects in a murder on May 9.

Coleman's girlfriend, Liana Blas, who was also pregnant at the time, was last seen with the child on May 24 in Texas by relatives.

Officials said Blas returned to Utah, and they found her with her newborn child. However, police said Coleman Jr. was nowhere to be found, and Blas wouldn't tell them where he is.

Police said several attempts to locate the child and check his welfare have not been successful.

Terell Jones, 30, Stafon Coleman, 21, and Mckennalyn Cummins, 24, were all named suspects in the killing of a 26-year-old man identified as Romeo Charles Williams.

On Aug. 10, the parents of Terell Jones, Kenya Coleman, 47, Damian Coleman Sr., 49, and Coleman's girlfriend, Blas, 20, were arrested accused for obstruction of justice.

Investigators learned the trio had been assisting the three homicide suspects travel across several states during the last three months.
