Michigan State Police asking for tips in case of stolen boat and trailer [PHOTOS]

STOCKBRIDGE, Mich. (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police are asking for help from the public to solve the case of a stolen boat and trailer.

Releasing surveillance photos on Friday, police said the theft took place early in the morning of July 18, 2022, in the 200 block of Heeney Rd. in Ingham County's Stockbridge, which is northwest of Chelsea.

According to troopers with the MSP Lansing Post, the suspect vehicle (seen above) has been identified as a late 1990s to early 2000s model Chevy Blazer.

Reaching out to the public for tips in the case, MSP also shared a photo of a boat similar to the one that was stolen.

As the investigation continues, anyone who has information on this crime, or about the suspect or suspect vehicle, is asked to call MSP Trooper Bush at 517-388-6235. Tipsters can also send an email to BushJ6@michigan.gov.
