After several minutes, the suspects' car does eventually pull to the shoulder of the road. But after a moment, and a directive from the deputy for the driver to exit the vehicle, the car speeds away.
After a brief second chase, the deputy is seen using a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver to stop the car.
In all, four suspects were taken into custody: Brenaldia Stephens, 27, of Atlanta, Deshauna Herd, 20, of Atlanta, Jasmine Canty, 21, of Conyers and Marquita Thomas, 23, of Atlanta.
Stephens was charged with Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude and Possession of Marijuana.
Authorities reportedly found $700 in counterfeit money in Thomas' purse. And Canty had an outstanding warrant from Gwinnett County for hijacking a motor vehicle.
