Absentee voting begins Thursday

Early voting for the Runoff Primary Election, Tuesday, August 23, will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. August 18 and August 19, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. August 20, at the Custer County Election Board office located at 633 N. 6th St., in Clinton. There is no early voting Monday prior to the election.

Tuesday, August 23, eligible voters will cast votes at their regular polling place, Brown said. If a voter has any questions about his or her eligibility, this information can be found online at www. ok.gov/elections, or calling the County Election Board office.

A reminder that a valid proof of identity is required both for early voting and voting at the polling place.
