CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — Charleston Police are investigating after a North Carolina man was shot in the head, neck and bicep late Thursday evening.
Charleston PD says that the incident happened in a parking lot on the 1700 block of Washington St. West at around 12:15 a.m. They say that the victim and a driver were meeting someone in the parking lot, and an unknown suspect approached their vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle.
The driver sped off and flagged down a patrol officer nearby, police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and police say he is in stable condition.
