Authorities reported an accidental shooting Monday afternoon near the 100 block of Private Road 2525 in Lometa. According to the Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred around 4:25 p.m.
Deputies arrived at the scene along with Acadian Ambulance Service, an Air Evac helicopter and first responders from the Lometa Volunteer Fire Department.
