UNIONDALE, N.Y. (WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for a group of gunmen in connection to a shooting that happened on Long Island Wednesday evening.

According to detectives, at 5:20 p.m., a 24-year-old man was seated in a parked 2009 BMW and a 24-year-old woman was standing outside the driver’s side door when a black 2021 Jaguar that was occupied by three men drove northbound on Northgate Drive in Uniondale.
The men discharged multiple rounds toward the man and woman, striking the BMW, multiple parked vehicles and two residences.
The gunmen fled the scene northbound on Northgate Drive.
No injuries were reported.
