Livingston County awarded funding for bridge repairs

Livingston County has been awarded $61,500 in County Road Aid Emergency Funds from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The funding will allow for the county to perform erosion repairs to a Deer Creek Bridge on Mitchell Road, just east of the Burna community.

The repairs include the replacement of sheet piling that protects the bridge and assist with repairs to the end of the bridge.

A check will be issued to the Livingston County Fiscal Court, which will supervise the work.
