$3 Million Bond: Kawasi Wilson of Millbrook Arrested on Multiple Drug and other charges

After a several months of investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics in Elmore County, Kawasi Wilson, 43, of Millbrook has been arrested on the following charges: Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess Pistol, Trafficking Cocaine, Attempt to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Trafficking Opioid, Possession of Marijuana 1st, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

And updated bond for Kawasi Wilson is now at $3,021,000.

Kawasi Wilson has an extensive criminal history with more than a dozen previous arrests that included being sentenced to state prison and twice to federal prison, according to Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin.

Franklin said that his office was contacted be Federal authorities as well, and further charges could be pending.

A search warrant was executed at Wilson’s residence located on George Road in Millbrook Alabama. The search resulted in the seizure of two pistols, over 900+ grams of cocaine, 26 grams of rock “crack” cocaine, 48 grams of marijuana, Suboxone strips, U.S. currency, digital scales, packaging material for resale of narcotics, and other drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Elmore Jail Monday night.

The following agencies were involved in the investigation; the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, the Millbrook Police Department, the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, the Montgomery Police Department, and the Hoover Police Department.
