Madison City intersection closed for construction

An intersection in the city of Madison will be closed as construction in the area continues. Starting Thursday morning, the intersection of Northeast 9th Street and Washington Avenue in Madison will be closed for around a week. The intersection is being closed as part of the ongoing construction project in that area of town.

This intersection along with NE 9th Street from Washington to Prairie Avenues will be closed until at least August 18th.

Anyone who uses the intersection of NE 9th and Washington Avenue is encouraged to find an alternate route for the next week.
