Right now, the Essex Police Department is investigating a motorcycle crash that happened last night in Colchester, just a little after 5:30 on Fort Parkway in front of Ethan Allen Avenue.Police say the motorcyclist veered out of the way for a vehicle that ran a red light.That’s when the motorcyclist dumped the bike to avoid an accident. The driver of the car allegedly told witnesses she would turn around and come back to the scene.But, she never did.Right now, officers are searching for a woman in her 40s driving a Black Chevy SUV. The motorcyclist was transported to UVM Medical Center for additional care but only sustained minor injuries.
