As if the Democrats latest massive tax and spend bill, falsely labeled as the 'Inflation Reduction Act', wasn't bad enough? The deal also includes a doubling of the IRS, which is is being done solely to target the middle class for more audits.
"We're looking at an absolute disaster here with the IRS being super-sized by the Biden administration" said Brandon Arnold, executive vice president with the National Taxpayers Union, "An $80 billion dollar boost to the IRS budget, with 87,000 new IRS agents, we're looking at a huge increase in audits."
And what about Joe Biden's promise, not to raise taxes on anyone making under $400,000 a year? Add that to a long list of lies over the last 19 months.
"78 to 90% of the money raised from this, will likely come from those making less than $200,000 a year" Arnold told KTRH, "So we're not talking about wealthy people, we're talking about middle income, lower income, upper middle class. The question is why? It's the old adage, why do you rob banks? Because that's where the money is."
It's money that is really tight right now due to the Biden-flation, the highest we've seen in over 40 years. But even in a recession, the Democrats are going to raise txaes.
"When we're suffering from an economic recession, to unleash IRS agents for a broken agency, an agency that can't even answer the phone the way it's supposed to, and have them harass all sorts of taxpayers, it's just a political disaster, as well as an economic disaster."
