Will he or won’t he? This is the question going in the minds of many on whether former United States President Donald Trump will try again to run as the country’s commander-in-chief.

Following a raid at his Florida estate, Republican Jim Banks claims that Trump has made up his mind about running in 2024. He was one of many members of the House Republican Study Committee who met with the 76-year-old former US President after the shocking raid.

“He didn’t seem defeated in the least bit — he was very fired up, very upbeat,” Banks said to Fox News.

He added that Trump made up his mind about his much-teased run and also enjoyed encouragement from them to get the decision out sooner or later.

“He said we are going to like his decision and it is only a matter of time before he will make that decision known,” Banks quipped. “The Republican Party is bigger and stronger than ever before because of Donald Trump’s leadership,”

Also, the raid that happened at Mar-a-Lago was something that unified Republicans.

“If anything, what the left and the corrupt Biden administration has done will only backfire on them, as they see that the American people stand with President Trump,” Banks told the outlet. “The House GOP is fighting back. We stand united in outrage against the Biden White House and DOJ, and we stand with President Trump.”

After being grilled by New York prosecutors, the former US president left Bedminister on Tuesday and headed back to Trump Tower. Trump branded it as a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in US history.

“My great company, and myself, are being attacked from all sides. Banana Republic!” Trump posted on his social media, Truth Social.
