THEY WANT TO MAKE GRIEF JUST A LITTLE BIT EASIER FOR FAMILIES. MEGHAN: IT’S NAMED AFTER FIVE-YEAR-OLD PAISLEY, A CHILD WHO DIED IN 2020. AND ITS FOUNDER, HER GRANDMOTHER, SAYS WHEN SHE SAW OUR STORY THIS WEEK, SHE KNEW SHE WAS BEING CALLED TO HELP. >> IT WAS REAL HEAVY ON MY HEART AND I FELT I REALLY, REALLY NEEDED TO BE THERE FOR THEM, BECAUSE WHEN WE LOST PAISLEY, EVERYONE WAS THERE FOR US. MEGHAN: AND THAT’S WHY THE PAISLEY PROJECT REACHED OUT TO HELP THE FAMILY OF TRINITY, ALIYAH, AND KYREN, ALL MURDERED BY THEIR FATHER OVER THE WEEKEND. >> WE ARE GOING TO PROVIDE MEALS FOR FIVE TO SEVEN DAYS. WE PLAN TO HELP WITH ANY OF THE THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE AS FAR AS FUNERAL EXPENSES, HEADSTONES, URNS. I PLAN TO MAKE GRIEF BASKETS AND GRIEF RESOURCES FOR MOM. MEGHAN: WHILE MANY IN THE COMMUNITY HAVE REACHED OUT TO HELP THE FAMILY, HAMILTON SAYS NOBODY CAN REALLY KNOW THAT PAIN, UNTIL THEY’VE LIVED IT. >> SHE CRIED, AND I CRIED. BECAUSE I FELT HER AND I THINK SHE KNEW THAT I FELT HER, AND WE CONNECTED. MEGHAN: BECAUSE THEY TELL ME EVERYONE'S NEEDS ARE DIFFERENT, BUT GRIEF IS THE SAME. >> WE KNOW WHAT YOU’RE GOING THROUGH. WE’RE HERE FROM DAY ONE TO DAY 7050. ANYTHING YOU NEED, WE WANT TO HELP. AND I JUST WANT TO MAKE PAISLEY PROUD. MEGHAN: AND OF COURSE 100% OF THE DONATIONS GO TO THOSE GRIEVING FAMILIES. IF YOU FEEL INCLINED
