Local, state police ask for help to find missing indigenous person

LAKEWOOD, Wash. —
Local and state police are asking for your help to find a Quileute Tribe member with dementia who left his adult family home over the weekend.

The Lakewood Police Department said Frank Cooper, 59, went missing Aug. 6 around 2 p.m. when he left the Comfort Haven Adult Family Home on Tomahawk Road SW.
Cooper’s sole guardian said the man, from La Push, left the home and was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with black pants and black shoes.
Cooper is 5’7’’ and weighs 160 pounds, he has gray hair and brown eyes.
LPD said it has checked the area, local hospitals and with South Sound Transit security but nothing has turned up.
