Romy Hero Johnson is the youngest child of Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson. Although she is shielded from the public, here's what we know about her.
Romy Hero Johnson is the second daughter of Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson, born in January 2012. She has two older siblings, Angelica, Jessie, and Wylda.
Aaron and Sam are known for their wide age gap, which brought them much public attention. However, their daughter remains a non-public figure.
ROMY HERO JOHNSON WAS BORN AT HOME
Romy was born on January 18, 2012, in London, with a sister, Wylda, who was only one year old. At that time, her parents' representative revealed that "both mother and daughter are doing well."
Aaron and Sam tied the knot a few months later in June in what seemed to be a controversial relationship. During their nuptials, Sam was 45, while her groom was 23 years younger. Nevertheless, their marriage worked out well.
Sam met Aaron when she cast him as John Lennon for "Nowhere Boy," her directorial debut. At that time, she was already a mother to Angelica and Jessie, her children from her marriage with Jay Jopling.
Angelica was born on April 24, 1997, while Jessie came in November 2005. Sam and Aaron had their firstborn child, Wylda, on July 7, 2010.
ROMY HERO JOHNSON HAS A CREATIVE FAMILY
Romy comes from a creative family, all working in the entertainment industry, which makes it no surprise if she follows in their footsteps one day. Her mother is a known director, producer, and photographer, while her father is an actor.
ROMY HERO'S FATHER HELPED THE KIDS' TEAM PLAY BASKETBALL
Romy's father previously volunteered to be a coach at his daughter's basketball team game, helping all six to seven-year-olds despite losing that season. He said:
"I didn't intend to [coach]. It was one of those things where parents could volunteer, and I said, 'Yeah, I'd love to.' And they went, 'Great, so you're the coach.' [I said], 'No, I've never played basketball before.'"
SHE IS SMART
According to her father's interview on the "James Corden Show," Romy's father revealed that she was a bright young girl. Narrating an account, Aaron brought a bunch of power tools into their home while his then six-year-old asked if they were to build a tree house. She then started helping take tools out of the boxes.
Aaron admitted that all his children are pretty smart and that he had learned much from them. He said in an interview:
"Being honest with your kids is most important, really. They know when you're lying for sure. I learn more from my kids than anyone else. They are incredibly smart, and they're sweet."
ROMY HERO IS GROWING UP IN A FAMILY FULL OF LOVE
Romy's parents ensure they give her the love and support she needs. Although many once talked about their relationship because of the age gap, Sam and Aaron proved that love overshadows age. Since meeting in 2008, their relationship has only gone stronger and better.
In fact, they previously celebrated their 10th year together with a second wedding ceremony, renewing the vows they continue to uphold to each other.
ROMY HERO'S LIFE IS VERY PRIVATE
While Romy's parents shower her with love, they do not do so in the public eye. She is shielded from the social media world with very rare photos of her online and no appearances during red carpet events.
Her parents' relationship attracted a lot of attention, so it is no surprise that they want to protect Romy from the public. However, her parents' celebrity status meant bits and pieces of her life were shared with the public through interviews.
"When I think about my kids – the privilege I can give them is a childhood," her dad said. "I want to encourage them in what they love doing, but I don't want to see them have to go through what I went through."
"When I met Sam, I'd already lived a life far beyond that of most of my contemporaries – I didn't relate to anyone my age. I just feel that we're on the same wavelength," he added.
