Hills Valley Road Collision Left Two Fatalities

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 10, 2022) – A fiery accident on Manning Avenue left two people dead, Monday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of Manning Avenue and Hills Valley Road, around 12:00 p.m.

Furthermore, investigators said a Toyota 4Runner SUV ran past a stop sign and straight into the path of a big-rig.

As a result, both vehicles overturned several times, causing the SUV to catch fire.

Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the two occupants inside the Toyota dead at the scene. Although their identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, the big-rig driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Tulare County Hospital for further treatment.

Fresno County Officials continue to investigate the Manning Avenue fiery accident at this time.
