August 10, 2022 – Save the date for the Run United 5k and Oakwood Block Party on Saturday, August 20 starting at 5:00 p.m. This fun, point-to-point 5k course starts in Fairview Park and finishes in the heart of the Oakwood Block Party.
This event is a fundraiser for United Way of Decatur and Mid-Illinois, in partnership with Fleet Feet Decatur and the Oakwood Block Party.

The party, which is free and for all ages, will take place on South Oakland Avenue in the West End of Decatur. Partake in the live music, delicious food, cold beer, dancing, and fun. Help celebrate the 12th year of the Oakwood Block Party.
Bring a lawn chair and sit down for the following events:
- Free Range Youth: 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
- Still Shine: 9:00 – 10:30 p.m.
- Said Echo: 7:20 – 8:20 p.m.
- Billy Fury Acoustic Set: 6:15 – 6:55 p.m.
- Floweezy – 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
- Ees’a Bella Belly Dance – 6:55 p.m. & 8:20 p.m.
