Update: Missing Berthoud man has been located

The public's help was sought in searching for a man who has been missing from Berthoud since Wednesday morning. That man has since been located and "is safe," Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

Before being located, the man, who has a cognitive disability, was last seen walking east from the area of Serenity Ridge Parkway at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies, investigators and emergency services personnel were searching for him, and Larimer County Search and Rescue was asked to respond. A drone was also deployed in the search.
