Cibola County parents may find a change in the typical school year preparation. This year, there are no school lists with items for students to purchase.
According to a representative with the Grants-Cibola County School District, students will not be required to purchase any school supplies this year because almost everything will be purchased for students by the school district.
Paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, calculators, protractors, and all of the traditional items which usually line store shelves at the end of July and early August do not need to be purchased by students or parents.
The only item the school district is not supplying for students is a backpack. Students will need to supply their own backpack.
