Cincinnati Bengals donate $250K for new athletic facility at Milford High School
The Cincinnati Bengals are continuing their efforts to help local high schools in the area.
The team partnered with the NFL Foundation, and LISC to contribute $250,000 to the Milford Exempted Village Schools for a new turf field.
The new field will aid in transitioning the former stadium into a multi-purpose athletic facility.
The facility will be known as the Charity J. Lucas Multi-Purpose Athletic Complex.
Officials said the complex will provide access to safe and reliable field space for the student athletes of Milford High School as well as other extra-curricular activities available to students.
The newly replaced field will also expand the opportunities for community partnerships with other youth organizations, providing additional field space for youth programs across the area.
The school will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new complex on at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 12.
The event will include a football skills and drills competition for youth and grades K-8, as well as a 7-on-7 Challenge for students in grades K-12.
The team also donated towards the new athletic facility at Covington Catholic High School.
