Devin Van Lue

SYRACUSE — Devin Van Lue, son of Jeremy and Shawna Van Lue, Syracuse, auditioned for a spot in the Ball State University Singers and was granted a spot for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. There are 22 members and Van Lue is the only freshman this year. He is also the only student from Wawasee in the past 21 years, and could be the only one ever to make this choir, according to former Wawasee High School Choir Director Connie Meadows.

Van Lue is a 2022 graduate from Wawasee High School. He was in the Wawasee Show Choir under the direction of Meadows his freshman year. His major at Ball State University is music education. His goal is to someday teach music in the Wawasee Community School Corporation.
