The Middlesex High School (MHS) golf team lost by one stroke to defending state champion Lancaster on Friday in a nine-hole match at the Golden Eagle Golf Course in Irvington. The final score was Middlesex 172, Lancaster 171.
Middlesex played an 18-hole match against Colonial Beach and Essex at Essex on Aug. 10. (Results were unavailable at press time.)
On Monday, Aug. 15, at 4 p.m. Middlesex hosts Rappahannock at Hartfield’s Piankatank River Golf Course…
