The Board of Directors of FOCUS Greater Syracuse is proud to formally announce the 2022 honorees for the Wisdom Keeper celebration. FOCUS Greater Syracuse will honor Calvin L. Corriders, regional president for the Syracuse market for Pathfinder Bank; and Pamela M. Brunet, executive director of Leadership Greater Syracuse as the 2022 Wisdom Keepers.

Wisdom Keeper is the annual fundraiser for FOCUS Greater Syracuse celebrating efforts of a growing list of Wisdom Keepers who show leadership, continual caring and understanding of the importance of vision for tomorrow. FOCUS has honored a number of past Wisdom Keepers; most recently, the Honorable Van B. Robinson, Linda Brown Robinson, and Merike Treier in 2021, as well as Melanie Littlejohn, Maarten Jacobs, Sean Kirst, and Oren Lyons, to name a few.

Corriders is responsible for the implementation of the strategic focus and direction for the Syracuse market at Pathfinder Bank. He currently serves on the Excellus governance board, SUNY Upstate hospital advisory board, is a member of 100 Black Men of Syracuse, the board president of Home Headquarters, Inc., and board member of the National Grid Foundation. Corriders is a former member of the Syracuse City School District board of education. Formerly commissioner, Corriders was first elected to the board of education in November of 1999. Corriders has garnered numerous community, banking, and service awards for all of the volunteer and professional work that he has done for over 30 years. Most recently, he received the Charles Dozier Public Service Award and the HSBC Community Banker Award.

Pamela M. Brunet is a community advocate who loves connecting people to their passion. She has worked in the Syracuse area for more than 25 years and is currently the executive director of Leadership Greater Syracuse, known as LGS. Prior to Leadership Greater Syracuse she worked as a development officer for the Foundation for Upstate Medical University. Most of her professional experience was with Bristol-Myers Squibb as their community relations manager at their Syracuse facility. She is the recipient of the “40 Under 40″ award and the “Woman in Business” award. She is a graduate of LGS – class of 1998. Soon after she graduated, she started volunteering for Hope for Bereaved – first as a dinner committee member and eventually worked her way to board president. Today she is a member of the Syracuse University Thursday Morning Roundtable advisory board and serves as a founding board member of the Preservation Alliance of Hyde Lake.
