VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 49th Annual Gaylen Opdahl Farmers Union Golf Tournament was held at the Valley City Country Club on Friday, August 5th. The event was a 5 person scramble with 80 golfers.

The winning team shot a 51 during the 18 hole tournament. Congratulations to the Valley City Team of Brian Yanish, Tom Glandt, Travis Ingstad, Jeremy Wiebe, and Jared Lentz for getting the lowest score.

The Presidents Flight winners were Kevin Jacobson, Mark Fitzner, Charlie Brandenburg, Mike Undem, and Vern Aus.

Tim Logan received the “Spirit of Golf Award.” The award is given to recognize the outstanding contributions to Golf and the Valley City Country Club.
