Police are investigating a stabbing in downtown Greenville. Police said they got a call about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday about an assault on the sidewalk in front of 525 S. Academy Street. That is the address for Project Host. Officers said they found one person with a stab wound to the chest. Police said a possible suspect was found in the area. No charges have been made at this time. The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.
