Stratford Drug Arrest

Three men are under arrest after police found them with 15 pounds of what’s believed to be fentanyl in their possession.

Stratford police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 54, and 20-year-old Matthew Romero told officers he was on his way to Junction City, Kansas.

However, the two passengers traveling with him told the officers different stories that didn’t match up with Romero’s.

After searching the vehicle they found six packages containing blue pills, thought to be fentanyl.

All three suspects have been arrested and charged with the manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.
