Neighbors of a potential three-story apartment building on Eastbrook Drive, west of South Timberline Road, can hear details of the plan Aug. 22 at a neighborhood meeting sponsored by the city of Fort Collins.

Notices went out late last week informing neighbors of the meeting and possible development, but the letter was short on details.

It says only that a new three-story multifamily structure was proposed at 3221 Eastbrook Drive, an L-shaped lot in the Seven Generations office park just west of Fort Collins High School.

Planner Will Lindsey said the developer indicated roughly 75 units might be built, but that could change.

A neighborhood meeting is one of the earliest steps in the city's development review process and comes before formal plans are submitted. Developers can submit formal plans 10 days after the neighborhood meeting.

Russell Baker of Black Timber Group, which is working on entitlements and development of the property, declined comment until after the neighborhood meeting, citing the early nature of the project. The property is owned by Dave Sitzman and Sitzman Investments LLLP, according to Larimer County property records.
