Free agent point guard Justin Robinson has signed with the Illawara Hawks of the Australian National Basketball League, the team announced.

“I feel the NBL is a great league and is now becoming more global,” Robinson said. “The league itself will allow me to continue to showcase who I am on and off the court. Illawarra has been right on the doorstep of winning an NBL Championship the last couple of years and my goal is to add to the winning culture. Coach Jackomas has something special brewing and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Robinson, 24, is 6-foot-1 and signed a two-way contract with the Bucks at the start of last season, before being waived in November. He then signed a 10-day deal with the Kings in December, followed another 10-day with the Pistons immediately after that.

Overall, he appeared in 25 games last season, averaging 3.1 points.

Undrafted out of Virginia Tech in 2019, Robinson first signed with the Wizards, then played with the Thunder, appearing in nine games with each.
