This is the latest scam reported by the Business Business Bureau.
Josh Planos of the BBB said this is primarily a concern for folks on the East Coast, but they've received plenty of reports in recent months following tornadoes in the region.
These text messages offer replacements for birth certificates, drivers licenses, social security cards, etc. But all too often these are scammers looking to grab personal and payment information.
