CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Route 2 has reopened following a head-on collision involving a tractor-trailer and pickup truck.

The crash along Ohio River Road happened just before noon.

Officials tell WSAZ.com a driver of the semi was heading North on Route 2 when a driver heading South in a pickup truck crossed the center line.

According to the Cabell County Sheriff, injuries reported are non-life threatening.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Route 2 in Cabell County is shut down Wednesday afternoon following an accident involving an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck.

First responders including police, fire and EMS have all arrived on scene along Ohio River Road.

Dispatchers say the road is shut down in both directions and first responders expect it to remain closed from another half hour.

Officials tell WSAZ.com a driver of the semi was heading North on Route 2 when a driver heading South in a pickup truck crossed the center line.

The accident was reported just after noon Wednesday.
