Husker fans will have a way to help out families across Nebraska later this month.
At Memorial Stadium Wednesday morning, Ronald McDonald’s House Charities unveiled this year’s Big Red Friday Flag.
Among those in attendance were Voice of the Huskers Greg Sharpe, former Husker Josh Banderas, CEO of RMHC in Omaha Lindsey Rai Kortan, and the McVicker Family from Omaha.
The flags will be available at any McDonald’s restaurant across Nebraska on Friday, Aug. 26 for $5. All proceeds raised will stay local, benefitting RMHC families in the state and helping keep families close in a time of need.
