The Adair County Health Department reports another drop in newly-reported cases of COVID-19.

For the seven-day reporting period ending August 8, the Health Department reported 55 new cases. That's a decrease of 8 cases from 63 in the previous reporting period.

ACHD continues to administer Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. The vaccines are administered to those ages 12 and older on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and to those ages 5 through 11 on Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m.

The Pfizer vaccine is also being administered to children ages 6 months to 4 years old from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays.
