Free concert at Hingham Shipyard

August Moon Festival slated for Aug. 21
QUINCY – Quincy's August Moon Festival will be back with full slate of vendors, cultural performances and demonstrations from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21 on Coddington Street in Quincy Center. Mammography van to visit Scituate on Sept. 6
SCITUATE – The Scituate Health Department will host the Dana-Farber Mammography Van from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6.The van will be parked at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 465 First Parish Road. Mammograms will be performed by Dana-Farber technicians and read by Dana-Farber board-certified radiologists. Women over the age of 40 should schedule appointments by calling the mammography van's office at 617-632-1974.

Choral Art Society seeks new members
SCITUATE – The Choral Art Society of the South Shore invites new singers to attend the first rehearsals of the fall season from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 and 20, at the First Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way. The society is a nonauditioned community chorus that welcomes returning members and newcomers of all skill levels to join the first rehearsal and learn about the fall season. Rehearsals throughout the season are in preparation for a winter concert of seasonal music to be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4.
