Fort Smith police were investigating a Tuesday residential burglary that resulted in two juveniles and three adults being arrested.
Our news content partners at 40/29 News reported that officers responded to a burglary in progress where shots had reportedly been fired in the 1800 block of North 34th Court.
According to a press release, the five suspects used a stun gun on the victim followed by a gunfire exchange outside the home between at least two individuals involved in the burglary.
Police said the perpetrators left the scene before officers arrived but were identified by detectives during a preliminary investigation.
Felisha Mitchell Dumas, 36; Dominique Jones, 35; and Desmond Jones, 20; and two juveniles were arrested and all are facing aggravated residential burglary charges.
No injuries have been reported, the press release stated.
