Along with pleading not guilty, Anderson waived his preliminary hearing.
A Weatherford Police Department Detective pleaded not guilty during a court Anderson currently is on administrative leave with WPD until the trial is complete.
According to an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation release, Anderson allegedly stole fentanyl from the evidence room at WPD. The narcotics were found missing when a drug trafficking case was transferred from district court to federal court. The investigation began September 9, 2021.
