A semitruck occupied by two people crashed into a house Wednesday morning on Interstate 90 in western South Dakota, according to the Department of Public Safety.

No information was released about how the crash occurred.

Mangan said the semi was eastbound on I-90 when it left the roadway to the right, entered the south ditch, traveled through a chain-link fence, across Dickson Drive and into private property where it went through a yard and struck a house.

Charges are pending against the 63-year-old man who was driving the truck, Mangan said. A 68-year-old woman in the truck was also injured.
