The Cannon Falls Area Chamber of Commerce’s Fun Fest is on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. downtown Cannon Falls.
There will be 30-plus vendors on Mill Street in downtown Cannon Falls. This street will be blocked off from Fourth Street to the Mill Street bridge. There will be three businesses on Mill Street and Fourth Street that will be holding sales at their locations: Cannon Falls Library, Cannon Valley Specialties and La Boutique Unique.
Door prizes will be given out throughout the evening.
Live music will be provided by the Kressin Hartl Family and Friends Band with a guest appearance by Run of the Mill Band. This group includes local songwriters and musicians, and they will be playing acoustical folk, country and gospel songs.
Bethel’s rock band and choir will be performing during the evening plus they will have free snow cones too.
Back by popular demand, the 25-foot climbing rock wall is being brought in by the Minnesota National Guard.
There’s free Sweet Corn being served by the Knights of Columbus. Don’s Crumble Beef Sandwiches and Rancho Loco will have their favorites available.
