Wednesday morning crash, downed lines close Canton Road in Akron

Akron police on Wednesday morning closed Canton Road, between Benton Avenue and Shelburn Avenue because of a motor vehicle accident.

There also are downed power lines, Akron police said in an alert on social media about 9:15 a.m. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
