A 53-year-old Great Mills man is dead following a shooting in Lexington Park on Tuesday evening, Aug. 9.

Police responded to the 21600 block of Great Mills Road, which is near St. Mary’s Square, at 5:52 p.m. and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a St. Mary’s sheriff’s office release. The man, later identified as Anthony Charles Wright, was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
