Carolyn Jean Harbin

Mrs. Carolyn Jean Harbin, 88, of Ellijay, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Harbin was born April 6, 1934, in Gastonia, N. C., the daughter of the late Leonard Fain and Anna Mae Gaddis. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, in Canton, and was employed by Boddy Nursing Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Bob Harbin, of Canton.

Survivor’s include sons, Charles Holt and Eddie Holt, both of Ellijay; daughters, Alice Faye Southern, of Ellijay and Juanita Criddle, of Canton, and five grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at 3:15 p.m., from the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Pallbearers were Cody Ratcliff, Tyler Ratcliff, Brannon Holt, Tony Davis, Jamie Davis, Tim Gaddis and Chris Cantrell.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was  in charge of arrangements.
