Gloria Jean Mata

Mrs. Gloria Jean Mata, 79, of Ellijay, formerly of San Diego, Calif., died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at Parkside Rehabilitation in Ellijay.

She was born May 15, 1943, in Long Beach, Calif., the daughter of the late John Rosales and Jessi Rosales. She was a housewife and a member of the Covenant Community Church of Ellijay.

Survivors include husband, Tony C. Mata, of Ellijay; sons, Jessy Mata, of Ellijay and Dan Mata, of Florida; daughter, Gloria Mata, of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Buddy Rosales, of Washington State; sister, Patty Rosales, of Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, from 3- 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Gloria Jean Mata.
