NOBLE COUNTY PUBLIC INVITED AUG. 10, 2022 - TOWN HALL WITH SENATOR CHUCK HALL Perry, OK, USA- The Noble County Republican Party is hosting a “Meet & Greet” event on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at The Heritage Center, 222 North Sixth Street, Perry, OK 73077. Doors will open to the Public at 6:15pm. Refreshments will be served until 6:45pm in the Atrium area.

Members of the NCRP and the Noble County Republican Women will provide cookies and lemonade to be served during the “Meet & Greet.”

Noble County Sheriff Matt McGuire and Deputies will provide security for the event along with other Security Officers assisting State Officials traveling to Perry.

At 6:46 pm, Smithheisler will call the “Town Hall” type meeting event to order in the Auditorium, followed by the Invocation, Salute to the American Flag and Introductions of City, County and State elected Officials.

Oklahoma State District 35 Representative Ty Burns will introduce Senator Chuck Hall after making a few remarks.

Senator Hall will again serve as moderator and interviewer of officials attending the Noble Cunty Town Hall event which will be recorded for PIN TV.

Oklahoma Senator Chuck Hall, Perry, has acquired statewide recognition with Federal, State and County Officials throughout Oklahoma during his current term. Senator Hall will serve another 4-year term in District 20!

Comprised of siblings – Hannah, Luke, Amy, Ashley, and Abigail Ballinger, family friend, Josiah Colle, and, more recently, younger sibling, Isaac Ballinger, Prairie Fire has blended folk, new grass, country, and bluegrass, echoing the sounds of the past with a youthful vibrancy. While the original group began to form around 2008, their performance highlights have included placing third at the 2012 KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest and fifth in the 2014 contest, along with performance appearances at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO in both 2013 and 2015. Prairie Fire was also the youngest featured band at the 40th Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS in 2011, and performed at various events in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas over the years. In 2015, the group released two albums, Live at the Poncan Theatre and Boots Up: Live At the Poncan Theatre, Pt. 2, both available on iTunes and Spotify. . FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF BILLINGS TO CELEBRATE 120+ YEARS The First Baptist Church of Billings, OK will be hosting a 120+ Years Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, October 30, 2022. We invite all current and past members and their families to attend as well as former pastors, church staff and their families. NOC TARGETED ENROLLMENT DATES SET Northern Oklahoma College has scheduled targeted enrollment dates for Fall 2022 at Tonkawa, Enid, and Stillwater.

The dates are Monday, Aug. 8 (Tonkawa), Thursday, Aug. 11 (Enid), and Friday, Aug. 12 (Stillwater). Noon is the starting time for each session.

Enrollment professionals and academic advisors will be on hand to assist students in the registration/enrollment process. Please call 580.628.6668 in Tonkawa, 580.548.2353 in Enid, and 580.628.6904 in Stillwater for additional information.

Returning NOC students are asked to call for morning times.

CHARLIE ADAMS DAY COMING TO NEWKIRK Newkirk Main Street’s Charlie Adams Day will take place September 10th, 2022, from 9 am to 3pm in Newkirk.

MCCORD ICE CREAM SOCIAL SCHEDULED ON FRIDAY The McCord Senior Center’s annual ice3 cream social will be on Friday, August 12 at the Center, 115 Mar yRoad. Free homemade ice cream and other desserts will be shared from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. In addition to free treats, there will be door prizes and live entertainment. The popular event is a gesture of gratitude from the Center’s board of directors to supporters and families.

McCord Senior Center is located in the Osage just off City View on Mary, south of Osage Casino.
